The snow has finally made an appearance in the UK and not to miss the fun I finished work half day on the Friday and went sledging.
We had a good covering of snow at home over night, but it only lasted until midday as it melted really quickly. However luck for us we have one of this country Gems Dartmoor national park is a 10 minute drive away. Dartmoor was hit hard by snow so we decided once I had finished work we would take the boys up to go sledging.
We had such fun, however it is always worth remembering that when you are from a country that rarely suffers from heavy snow its easy to be caught out. On the way home we came across a car which has slipped in to a ditch, being the saint that I am (said tongue in cheek) We stopped and spent 15 minutes helping get the car out.
Cant wait for the next snowfall in 2014 (Probably)
